Such as this dufus' article on Obama's Chicago style mob boss attempts at bipartisanship. Notice how this "blogdude" subtly mentions that a checks and balances system doesn't "help the various points of view amalgamate into clear and efficient government".

Now while this statement can be true, the underlying assumption is that the amalgamation into clear and efficient government must be devoid of compromise. Also, it is clear that this fellas is an Obama apologist since Obama is the one offering the "olive branch" and the mean ole Republicans just want a "zero sum game".

What In the Obama is Going On Here was created to offer a competing viewpoint to blogs like this one and to provide a lot of information that points out the President's philosophical follies in policy and the myriad of people who see him doing it. The next step is to get it stopped.

Sorry, things have been crazy.

With having to work and raise a family of three, time hasn't allowed me to post as regularly as I would like. Regardless, I have been collecting several articles as I see them so enjoy these new ones.

A lot has happened since my last post in May, namely the economy appears to have bottomed out, the market somewhat stabilized and Obama has begun picking up more significant resistance to some of his proposals.

One interesting mutation that is taking place is the Waxman climate change bill, which now looks quite different than its original version. But there are always the "crazies" standing near the door ready to pounce on anything that seems "unfair" or "oil company influenced evilness".

So the title of this article on Politico was "Obama against taxing health care"...but when you read and watch this it is clear they leave him options so that he can make an excuse to tax healthcare benefits once he has broken the federal treasury beyond repair. Leaving options for your leader isn't something new to Obama....but wasn't he elected to change the doublespeak. Instead I think we are getting something new...TripleSpeak.

TripleSpeak is when (1) you get someone else to do your dirty work, (2) you make a promise, and (3) you do what ever you want regardless if it is breaking your promise - you just keep moving forward and repeating yourself so that eventually everyone will forget what you said and believe what you are saying. Don't confuse them with the truth.
